Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and frontline leaders across assigned regions or service lines
Provide guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices to leaders and employees
Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including licensure, certifications, and required documentation
Ensure timely processing of employee status changes, job changes, and separations
Own and execute the end-to-end onboarding process for clinical and non-clinical hires
Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed timely (background checks, I-9, licensure verification, health screenings, and required documentation)
Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring alignment with company policies, compliance standards, and role-specific expectations
Partner with clinical leadership to ensure clinicians are onboarded efficiently and transitioned to active caseloads as quickly as possible
Track and monitor onboarding progress, ensuring completion of all required training, credentials, and documentation prior to patient care delivery
Identify onboarding gaps and continuously improve processes to enhance new hire experience and reduce time-to-productivity
Ensure onboarding and orientation processes meet regulatory and audit requirements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and home health regulatory requirements
Partner with clinical leadership to track and maintain required licensure, certifications, and training compliance
Support readiness for regulatory surveys (e.g., state health departments, accrediting bodies) by conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and addressing gaps proactively
Assist in responding to survey findings, corrective action plans, and ongoing compliance monitoring
Maintain working knowledge of home health regulations, including Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and state-specific requirements
Partner with recruiting and hiring managers to support staffing needs and ensure seamless transition from candidate to onboarded employee
Assist in workforce planning and tracking onboarding timelines, time-to-start, and time-to-productivity metrics
Support training initiatives and onboarding-related education for leaders
Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports related to compliance, onboarding metrics, and workforce data
Conduct regular audits of personnel files, onboarding documentation, and required compliance records
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
At least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in home health, healthcare, or a regulated environment
