About this role
Role Overview
Provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support to ensure safe adoption and growth of the Medtronic CoreValve System
Works closely with implanting teams and the Medtronic Catheter-Based Therapies field organizations to drive procedural and practice success
Provides clinical expertise for TAVR implanting centers
Assists with loading valves onto delivery catheter during TAVI implant procedures
Provides ongoing education and training activities with physicians and hospital support staff
Collaborates and strategizes with territory sales representatives
Requirements
A High School Diploma plus 11+ OR Associate’s Degree and 9 + OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years clinical or sales experience
Selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products
At least 3 years’ of such experience in an industry setting
Associate’s Degree in engineering, nursing, or the sciences (nice to have)
Bachelor’s Degree in business or science (nice to have)
Experience with wires, balloons, catheters, stents (nice to have)
Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology (nice to have)
Experience communicating product’s market advantages to physicians and hospital administration (nice to have)
Experience managing multiple accounts (nice to have)
Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel (nice to have)
Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or TEE, CT, Angiograms) (nice to have)
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint (nice to have)
Excellent influencing and consulting skills (nice to have)
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills (nice to have)
Ability to make timely and sound decisions (nice to have)
Strong project management skills with experience coordinating programs (nice to have)
Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 50-75% of the time (geography variability)
