You develop and own the positioning and messaging architecture for Shopware across platform, AI, and Cloud/PaaS offerings.
You are responsible for the end-to-end execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches and strategic initiatives: defining target segments, buyer journeys, and core messages, and ensuring successful launches together with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
You create and scale impactful enablement materials such as sales playbooks, demo stories, qualification guides, and vertical content, empowering Sales and Partner teams to compellingly position Shopware’s platform, AI, and Cloud/PaaS value.
You conduct market analyses, define ICPs and personas, and perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities, validate customer problems, and feed these insights into product, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
You support demand generation by providing strategic input for campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging, and contributing to increased awareness and pipeline in relevant target segments.
You define and analyze KPIs across adoption, pipeline, and messaging effectiveness, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive sustainable growth.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Product Marketing within B2B SaaS, digital commerce, or platform/cloud/PaaS environments
Proven ownership of the full PMM cycle: positioning, messaging, launches, competitive analysis, and sales enablement
Strong experience in market analysis, ICP and persona definition, and value proposition development
Deep understanding of digital commerce platforms and ecosystems, including composable/headless architectures, APIs, integrations, and storefronts
Experience with AI-driven commerce approaches (e.g., LLMs, automation, personalization, agents)
Strong technical affinity and the ability to communicate complex platform topics clearly to both business and technical audiences
Data-driven working style with experience using customer, pipeline, and performance data
Excellent communication and storytelling skills and a confident presence with stakeholders at all levels
Strategic thinker with pragmatic, hands-on execution and high personal accountability
Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive working style in a dynamic, international environment; fluent English (German is a plus)
