About this role
Role Overview
Provide daily administrative and operational support to the HR department
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure data integrity
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing HR data and trends
Support the development and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook
Create and distribute internal communications (e.g., employment letters, performance notices)
Assist with departmental and company-wide initiatives and special projects
Process bi-weekly payroll and perform time-sheet reconciliation
Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
Conduct audits related to payroll, benefits, and HR programs
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
Support onboarding activities, including orientation and training coordination
Collaborate with teams to support achievement of organizational goals
Requirements
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and/or payroll (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Knowledge of employment legislation, including Human Rights, Employment Standards, Health & Safety, and Pay Equity
Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., Payworks, ADP, Dayforce, BambooHR) is an asset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
