About this role
Role Overview
Learn all about Victaulic’s products and provide solutions for customers
Overcome objections from customers regarding traditional pipe joining methods
Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan including opportunity mapping, sales goals, and product promotion plans
Execute all phases of project pursuit and project management to secure purchase orders
Develop and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners
Partner with Victaulic distributors and manage a balanced distribution network
Educate customers on the value of Victaulic products and influence decision-makers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous sales experience selling “value added” products/services; preferably related to the commercial construction industry, PVF industry (pipes, valves, fittings) or mechanical products
Demonstrated achievements in sales and a history of developing and nurturing long standing relationships
Possessing a competitive nature, flexibility and resiliency
Self-motivated and self-driven
Exude confidence, a professional image, and present an engaging, affable personality
Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and creative thinking
Strong organization and time management skills, as well as solid project management skills
Willingness to travel; some territories require heavier overnight travel than others.
