Lead full-cycle recruitment for insurance sales producers (e.g., Producers, Account Executives, Advisors, etc.), from intake through offer and onboarding coordination
Partner closely with sales leadership to understand revenue goals, growth targets, and market expansion plans; translate these into proactive recruiting strategies
Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active sales talent, with a focus on experienced insurance producers and niche or hard-to-fill roles
Develop targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, industry events, referrals, and direct outreach to competitors
Provide market intelligence on competitor hiring activity, compensation structures (base vs. commission), and producer mobility trends to inform hiring decisions
Assess candidates not only for experience, but for book of business potential, cultural alignment, and long-term production capability
Deliver a high-touch, consultative candidate experience that reflects the organization’s employer brand and value proposition
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with compensation frameworks, compliance requirements, and hiring best practices
Champion inclusive and equitable hiring practices in line with Canadian employment legislation and corporate standards
Utilize ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter) to manage pipelines, ensure data integrity, and track recruitment metrics
Monitor and report on key metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and pipeline health; continuously improve recruiting effectiveness.
Requirements
5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a strong focus on sales recruitment
Experience recruiting within the insurance or financial services industry, with an understanding of producer roles, compensation models, and regulatory considerations, is a strong asset
Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner to business leaders, influencing hiring decisions and workforce planning
Strong track record of sourcing and engaging passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets
Experience recruiting for revenue-generating roles where the quality of hire directly impacts business performance
Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools)
