Support the procurement of new business opportunities and assist with key deliverables across acquisitions, underwriting, market analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate tactics to achieve company goals and growth objectives
Underwrite new management opportunities to ensure sound and mutually beneficial business terms, including rent rolls, operating statements, capital budgeting, and NOI projections
Analyze target markets, growth opportunities, and asset potential using industry data sources, market trends, competitor analysis, and enrollment metrics.
Create stabilized pro forma budgets and income & expense projections
Prepare comprehensive market surveys and rental rate evaluations
Maintain a financial and operational database for internal tracking
Identify value-add opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives
Assist with underwriting and due diligence for acquisitions or new management contracts
Support KPI development and tracking
Conduct competitive analysis of property interiors, amenities, and resident services
Provide analysis of property staffing, payroll, and operational programming (utilities, trash, internet, etc.)
Identify potential business development contacts and coordinate outreach
Review and analyze T12s and provide side-by-side comparisons
Prepare presentations and reporting materials (PowerPoint proficiency required)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related Business field preferred
At least 1-3 years of experience in student housing, multifamily, real estate investment, consulting, or property management analytics.
Strong proficiency with Excel and financial modeling
CRM and analytic tools experience preferred
Working knowledge of GAAP principles
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Yardi and/or Entrata experience preferred
Understanding of multifamily and student housing operations is a plus
Available for limited travel as needed
