About this role
Role Overview
Drive continuous service improvement to work towards achieving operational excellence.
Develop robust Incident management processes.
Take the lead in incident resolution.
Perform post-incident reviews.
Maintain metrics and reporting for operational performance.
Educate teams on best practice for Incident & Problem Management.
Drive innovation and quality to improve operational efficiency.
Effective communications and stakeholder management.
Perform various administrative tasks and related duties as required.
Requirements
University degree plus 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience working in a client-facing technical support role.
A logical and systematic approach to problem resolution across a broad spectrum of technologies.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment.
Practical knowledge of the Windows desktop/server environments.
Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) – application pools, website bindings, server certificates.
Well-developed analytical skills, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical language.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on team-working whilst managing multiple competing priorities.
Insurance services experience considered an asset.
ITIL Experience a bonus.
Azure experience welcome.
