Sales and Business Development Director – BESS

Role Overview

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine the global sales strategy for BESS.
• Identify and prioritize market segments, applications, and geographic opportunities that drive profitable growth.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor landscapes, and regulatory developments to shape long‑term strategic direction.
• Build, manage, and coach a high‑performing sales organization.
• Lead relationships with top customers, strategic accounts, and industry partners.
• Support the team in complex negotiations and high‑value deals.
• Bring strong understanding of the energy storage market, including BESS technologies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align commercial needs with technology roadmap and deployments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet customers, attend industry events, support the sales team, and represent the company globally.

Requirements

• Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in energy storage, power systems, renewables, or related industrial sectors.
