Preparation of regulatory reports on regulatory metrics for supervisory authorities
Contribution to capital reporting under Basel III and the CRR, including analysis and validation of metrics such as own funds, capital ratios, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, large exposures and liquidity (LCR/NSFR)
Assessment of the impact of new regulations on capital ratios and risk-weighted assets
Monitoring of capital adequacy and ensuring that regulatory reporting processes are robust and fully compliant, including coverage of the COREP framework, the standardized reporting system required by the European Banking Authority (EBA) for EU banks
Maintenance of templates that cannot be covered by standard applications
Monitoring of regulatory changes and participation in the integration of regulatory changes into systems and workflows
Coordination activities between Accounting, Risk and IT departments
Implementation of regulatory changes into internal policies and monitoring full compliance as regulatory standards evolve.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Economics
Professional experience in corporate accounting at a bank, audit for banks, or consulting with a focus on regulatory reporting projects
Knowledge of regulatory and supervisory frameworks, e.g., Basel III, CRR or COREP
Knowledge of accounting standards
Analytical mindset with a team-oriented, structured and independent way of working
Confident handling of databases and data query tools
Ability to meet deadlines independently and to work under pressure
Customer-oriented, reliable working style
Good communication and interpersonal skills and a high degree of initiative
