About this role
Role Overview
Execute and ensure processing of payments to suppliers, taxes and intercompany via SAP and banking platforms, ensuring deadlines and compliance.
Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of balances and accuracy of financial records.
Act as an interface with internal departments, advising on payment flows, deadlines, documentation and tax withholdings.
Execute operational payment routines and cash closing procedures, ensuring SLA compliance and quality of deliverables.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls and applicable regulatory standards.
Operate Confirming / drawee-risk processes, interfacing with banks, managing file exchanges and transactional issues.
Manage the intercompany payments process, validating balances and coordinating transfers between group companies.
Analyze budget variances (forecast vs. actual), identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
Manage relationships with banking institutions, including requesting access maintenance, payment limits and resolving operational inconsistencies.
Identify and address operational and financial discrepancies, escalating or resolving them according to the level of complexity.
Ensure governance of approval limits and payment parameterizations in systems (SAP and banking portals), mitigating fraud and error risks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes through standardization, automation and reduction of operational risks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree: Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields
Experience with governance of financial processes, internal controls and support for audits (internal/external).
Assist in the validation of the department’s policies.
Knowledge of SAP.
Ability to act as a technical reference and lead process improvements.
Intermediate Spanish.
Experience with accounts payable in LATAM operations.
