Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing plans and multi-channel campaigns to meet visitor and revenue targets.
Line-manage and develop a Marketing Executive, providing clear direction and coaching.
Manage budgets and agency/supplier briefs (design, print, ticketing, web), and ensure brand consistency across all creative output.
Lead digital activity: maintain and optimise event websites (content, design, SEO, conversion/engagement) and collaborate on box office performance.
Deliver targeted marketing materials and segmented email campaigns (Adestra) with strong, engaging copy.
Build and manage media partnerships, contra deals and industry relationships, ensuring maximum value and timely asset delivery.
Work with CRM/data leads on segmentation, data requirements and campaign analysis; track KPIs and report ticket sales regularly.
Manage stakeholder communications (VIP, trade, exhibitor and sponsor), supporting sales/promotions and producing sponsorship materials.
Liaise with exhibitors to maximise marketing opportunities pre-, during and post-event.
Support onsite delivery across LAF and ND (build and open days), including customer service, content capture and managing onsite suppliers/ticketing.
Compile campaign results and insights for post-show reporting and future optimisation.
Requirements
Proven progressive marketing experience, ideally within events, exhibitions, experiential or brand marketing.
A good understanding of the full marketing mix, with experience in digital and offline.
Demonstrable experience in all marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, PPC campaigns, marketing databases, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
Experience in website management and optimisation (CMS, SEO, conversion, and engagement).
Familiarity with ticket platforms and Box Office management.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Analytical mindset with data-driven thinking and the ability to utilise measurement and evaluation tools.
Effective coach, and mentor with experience managing and motivating a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ambition to grow, develop, and learn within the events industry.
