Role Overview
- Lead the Performance Observability Platforms team
- Define and own the multi-year roadmap for probe instrumentation and data pipeline architecture
- Partner with CTO, Network Operations, and Data/AI teams
- Lead vendor strategy and contract negotiations for probe platform investments
- Make sound technical decisions on probe placement and data pipeline design
- Communicate progress and wins to executive stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive change in complex environments
- Track record of building and retaining high-performing technical teams
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Experience managing 24/7 operational environments
- Proven ability to own a platform roadmap and drive multi-year transformations
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating complex contracts
- Ability to see the probe platform as a product that serves internal customers
- Comfort with ambiguity and driving clarity through data
- Ability to enable AI-driven automation and predictive intelligence
