Manage grant agreement contracts for Oregon Broadband Office financial assistance
Make visits to broadband project sites and meet with recipients
Work with recipients to resolve problems
Oversee complex, high value project disbursements
Compile closeout reports submitted by recipients for compliance with programmatic funding requirements
Provide on-going technical assistance such as mapping of unserved and underserved areas
Work directly with the BEAD Program Coordinator consultants, and subrecipients
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills
Four years experience coordinating or administering a program OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification
Demonstrated experience developing and managing federally funded grant agreements for eligible and pass-through entities or subrecipients
Telecommunications or infrastructure grant agreement experience is preferred
Demonstrated experience monitoring compliance with technical aspects of complex grant agreements
Certification or demonstrated experience using federal grant management principles
Certification or demonstrated experience using Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Excel
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including local/state/federal government, state and local elected officials, businesses, and non-governmental organizations
