Client Relationship Management: maintaining and developing excellent relationships with clients, overseeing all aspects of client service and account management, leading client meetings, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor
Actuarial Consulting Services: providing recommendations to optimize the strategic management of defined benefit pension plans, including plan design, valuation, risk management, regulatory compliance, employee education, and plan administration
Team Leadership: supporting team engagement by providing mentorship, guidance and technical expertise to junior team members, overseeing the delivery of projects
Business Development: identifying and developing new business, ensuring the ongoing growth of existing clients
Requirements
10+ years of experience in defined benefit pension plan consulting
Knowledge of pension legislation and actuarial standards of practice including pension plan valuation, financial projections, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to develop relationships at the highest levels of client organizations and influence decision-makers
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting the growth and mentorship of junior team members
Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to meet performance targets within a practice area
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Post-secondary education in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
