Actively prospect new banking correspondents (Corbans) with a focus on regional expansion and growing the active base
Map opportunities by region, operational profile, production potential and alignment with the bank’s strategy
Execute consultative commercial approaches, presenting the bank, product portfolio, operating model and competitive differentials
Lead negotiations to accredit new commercial partners
Present and structure the incentive model and value proposition for correspondents
Drive the conversion of prospected partners through to formal accreditation
Support the initial onboarding process for new correspondents in coordination with internal teams
Lead expansion of strategic agreements through active outreach to agencies and organizations
Identify opportunities for new agreements by state and assess market potential
Conduct visits and commercial coordination with counterparties to enable accreditation
Remove obstacles and unblock agreements in the accreditation process
Work closely with internal areas (products, legal, partnerships, accreditation) to enable partnerships
Track the prospecting pipeline and the progress of accreditations
Ensure targets for expanding the correspondent base and agreements are met
Monitor the production potential of accredited partners
