Define and implement business development strategies for U.S. Army IAMD and MDA market segments
Ability to interpret U.S. Army & Joint Force modernization roadmaps and translate them into actionable growth strategies including AIAMD/IBCS, JADC2 interoperability, and Golden Dome America initiatives
Develop and maintain deep market intelligence on programs, budgets, and competitive positioning
Partner with our PLEXSYS product managers to shape technology roadmaps and investment priorities that align with customer missions
Drive opportunities in testing and training system modernization, distributed simulation, operator readiness, and mission rehearsal environments that support joint and coalition air and missile defense
Identify, qualify, and lead capture efforts from pipeline development through proposal submission and contract award
Shape customer requirements by introducing PLEXSYS technologies that enhance interoperability, mission analytics, and training fidelity
Build and sustain relationships with leaders across MDA, PAE Fires, T2COM, U.S. Army SMDC, Army Contracting Command (ACC)-Redstone, PAE Maneuver Air, and U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) and S3I Directorate
Represent PLEXSYS in key industry forums, PALTs, and working groups addressing Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) integration and digital enterprise test environments
Partner with engineering, product, and program management teams to align PLEXSYS simulation and training solutions with customer needs
Support go-to-market alignment with PLEXSYS’s strategic partners and OEM platform integrators such as Lockheed, Northrop, Boeing, Raytheon and General Dynamics
Explore synergies with our regional teammates (AUKUS) and opportunities for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) through Capability Program Executive Simulation, Training, Test, & Threat (CPE ST3), Orlando, Fl
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in U.S. Defense business development, capture management, or program leadership
Proven success identifying, shaping, and winning mid-scale Army or Joint service captures
Familiarity with Army air and missile defense architectures, including IBCS, IFPC, Patriot, THAAD, and JADC2 integration efforts
Deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes, contracting mechanisms, and budget lifecycles
Strong executive communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Military domain experience with integrating live operational C3BM systems with constructive modeling and simulation environments enabling individual, crew, collective, and mission readiness training needs
Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI
