Lead end-to-end payroll processing across assigned countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Manage and supervise Payroll Team including supervision, coaching, development, and workload planning.
Act as a subject matter expert for payroll, tax, social security, and payroll data privacy topics
Proactively partner with Business, HR, Finance, and other Finance functions to ensure payroll‑related regulations and data protection requirements are clearly understood and applied
Ensure strict confidentiality, security, and protection of payroll and personal employee data in line with data protection laws and Verisk policies
Ensure payroll systems are correctly configured and maintained in accordance with legislation, collective agreements, internal policies, and access and data security controls
Oversee statutory reporting and timely payment of taxes, social security contributions, deductions, and other mandatory payments
Manage statutory filings and direct communication with local authorities
Continuously review and improve payroll processes, controls, and data handling practices
Support internal and external audits, SOX controls, and compliance reviews related to payroll and data protection
Managing escalations, complex payroll cases, audits, and data‑related inquiries
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or equivalent senior payroll role covering multiple countries
Strong hands‑on expertise in payroll operations, statutory compliance, and payroll data protection
Experience with payroll systems, access management, and data control frameworks
Exposure to HR and payroll reporting within a shared services or global operating model
Additional education or certification in HR, Payroll, Labor Law, or Data Protection (GDPR) is an advantage
