Lead and manage the Credit team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize credit evaluation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Generate report for daily monitoring.
Present updates on credit collection portfolio, ie. receipt issuance, commission payment, reconciliation status etc during weekly meeting.
To prepare and present the reconciliation tracking report updates during monthly meeting with Credit Recoveries.
To engage with credit team from brokers via meeting or physical visit to broker office to clear out outstanding unmatched transactions on monthly basis.
To ensure premium are being collected within the timeframe and minimal provision of bad debts.
Any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or HOD.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in credit management with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of credit risk assessment.
Strong analytical background, proficiency in data reporting tools, and the ability to generate insightful reports that support strategic decision-making.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with the use of ChatGPT for tasks simplification.
