About this role
Role Overview
enhance and improve interactions with key external US rare disease thought leaders at academic centers and leading community practices
act as a coordinated, single point of contact to resolve issues between the thought leader and their institution
assist with on-label in-person key thought leader development and drive thought leader advocacy with approved decks and materials
plan and implement thought leader engagements and senior executive encounters at local, regional and national conferences
communicate with sales partners on conference presence and support a regional conference strategy
help pull through contracting and training needs with speakers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree where an advanced degree is preferred
minimum of 7 years of work experience in one or more of the following: previous or current Thought Leader Liaison role, field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience including experience in the rare disease market
previous launch experience
strong science background with deep knowledge of the rare disease space
ability to understand, work with, and provide commercial input to all functions within the project team
demonstrated leadership skills (past management experience a plus but not required)
strong teamwork and collaboration skills
