About this role
Role Overview
Collaborate with customers to develop industry-specific machining solutions.
Demonstrate capabilities through engineering excellence and customer service.
Develop sales and profitability within a designated geographical area.
Prospecting, making sales calls, product training, customer support/analysis, and process/product recommendations.
Documented cost reductions and CRM administration.
Implement innovative machining techniques and drive continuous improvement initiatives with customers.
Requirements
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cutting tool applications.
Strong experience in indexable milling and a metal cutting background.
Experience with 5-axis machine centres and familiarity with machining aerospace materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Confident and articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to present clearly to internal and external audiences.
Active listener who builds strong relationships.
Self-motivated and results-driven individual with strong time management skills.
Strong analytical mindset, able to plan effectively and execute tasks with precision.
HNC or HND in production/mechanical engineering.
Full and clean driving license.
