About this role
Role Overview
Building, validating, maintaining, and governing end‑to‑end service maps
Supporting operational resilience and regulatory compliance
Creating, enhancing, and maintaining business service and application service maps
Validating relationships between business services, applications, and underlying configuration items
Ensuring service maps follow approved mapping standards
Coordinating with Discovery and Infrastructure teams to resolve gaps
Performing map validation sessions with Application Owners
Requirements
Strong understanding of Service Mapping concepts
Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow
Experience with tag-based service mapping and meta data driven mapping approaches
Understanding of IT infrastructure components
Familiarity with ITSM processes
ServiceNow Certification (CSA, CIS.SM)
Understanding of MID Server setup, health monitoring, and discovery troubleshooting
