Work directly with customers to understand their IT landscape, data flows, operational processes, and integration requirements
Design robust integration concepts — across third-party systems, APIs, EDI formats, file-based exchanges, and customer-specific workflows
Build, configure, or prototype integration components as needed
Work closely with engineering to bring scalable solutions into production
Write clear, high-quality documentation for both customers and internal teams
Take ownership of integration success after go-live — monitor usage, gather feedback, iterate with customers, and drive adoption

3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Implementation Engineer)
Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, data formats, and system-to-system communication
Experience with integration formats such as EDIFACT, XML, ZUGFeRD, ebInterface, CSV, JSON, REST/SOAP — with in-depth experience in at least one
Prototype-level coding skills (Python preferred) — able to build solutions, not just design them
Strong specification and documentation skills — you can communicate effectively with engineers and client IT teams
Cross-functional collaboration experience with Customer Success, Backend, Frontend, Product, and external providers
Fluent in German and English
