About this role
Role Overview
Acquire new customers (C level and above) to generate GP and shipment volumes
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market intelligence
Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned customers with a focus on long-term value
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across air and ocean services
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
Focus on acquiring and developing C, B, and A-level customers
Support the transition of smaller (D-level) customers to inside sales where appropriate
Contribute to account planning and segmentation strategies
Use CRM systems to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and ensure accurate forecasting
Maintain high-quality data and reporting standards
Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
2 to 4 years of experience in Sales or freight forwarding operations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good commercial awareness with a focus on pricing and profitability
Proficiency in CRM systems and tools
