Coordinate and manage all required aspects to obtain prescription medication coverage for patients
Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions
Coordinate paperwork, submissions, and all related documentation to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
Implement financial means assessments as required to maximize patients' prescription drug coverage
Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been secured
Develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
Responsible for reporting all adverse events to the appropriate departments
Requirements
Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service in an office setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner
Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task to meet competing deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
Bilingual: French and English required
