Coordinates assigned division(s) responsibilities in employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, retention and compliance with company, state and federal laws
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources functions
Partners with training department for employee and manager development
Coaches and assists managers with employee relations issues
Drives people engagement through training of site management team
Drafts, executes, reviews, and maintains records of personnel transactions
Provides regular departmental reporting
Champions talent review processes
Conducts exit interviews
Trains managers how to handle separations
Ensures investigations, reviews, and approvals are obtained
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field
2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist
Bilingual in English/Spanish
May be required to have a valid driver’s license and meet SBM Driver Approval requirements
Completed all safety and task training certifications
