You are the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
You negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to maximize profitability.
You build trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, client representatives, and executives.
You ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions in line with customer needs and objectives.
You forecast and track key metrics for major accounts (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare account status reports.
You work with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory.
You assist with complex customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
You maintain close relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers where appropriate.
You stay up to date on internal and external developments in the e-commerce space to build solid knowledge of sellers and the industry.
You supervise and support the work of junior members of the Business Development team.
Requirements
Experience in business development – minimum 5 years.
University degree – BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field.
Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written).
Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Organized with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Confident, professional, and personable with a positive attitude.
