Business Development & Partnerships Executive

Lima Films is a growing film studio focused on developing and producing character-driven stories with historical depth. They are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Executive to lead outreach, relationship building, and deal-making across the entertainment landscape to expand the studio's reach and secure meaningful partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new partnership opportunities with studios, streamers, production companies, and financiers
• Secure co‑production, development, and distribution deals across our slate
• Build and maintain industry relationships with executives, producers, and decision‑makers
• Represent the studio at markets, festivals, and industry events
• Collaborate with internal creative leadership to align partnership strategy with project needs
• Track deal pipelines and partnership progress
• Negotiate terms that support the studio’s long‑term growth

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, studio relations, film financing, or entertainment partnerships
• Active, working relationships with top‑tier studios and streamers, including but not limited to: Sony Pictures, Netflix, Lionsgate, Amazon MGM, Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal, A24, Apple TV+, Hulu, and others
• Demonstrated ability to initiate conversations, secure meetings, and drive deals with major industry players
• Strong negotiation skills and comfort navigating deal structures
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building instincts
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working on commission
• Deep understanding of the film/TV ecosystem, including co‑production and financing models
