About this role
Role Overview
Own and drive the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth targets and business objectives.
Lead, manage, and scale a team of sales executives and account managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance frameworks for the sales team and hold the team accountable to results.
Take ownership of the full sales pipeline, from lead generation and prospecting through to close and handover.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and senior stakeholders.
Work closely with marketing, product, and partnerships teams to ensure a joined-up go-to-market approach.
Identify new market opportunities, verticals, and revenue streams to fuel continued growth.
Report on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline health to the executive team and board.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, tooling, and team development.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
Experience building, managing, and scaling sales teams in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Deep understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
Experience working closely with marketing, product, and partnership functions.
A natural leader and motivator who leads by example and invests in their team.
Ownership mentality: you don’t wait for the playbook; you build it.
Curiosity about marketing tech, data, and SEO/AI Search ecosystem.
