Role Overview
- Lead intake, scoping, and documentation of clinical research data requests
- Convert clinical and research needs into technical specifications
- Design, build, and maintain data assets for research use
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries
- Manage and execute data requests within defined scope
- Identify and resolve data issues, validate new data sources
- Conduct on-demand data analysis to support research and decision-making
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science or technical field
- 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data in Epic Clarity or Caboodle EHR data warehouses
- 5+ years of experience with standardized clinical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, UMLS)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare reporting or biomedical research
- 5+ years advanced SQL programming expertise
- experience with data mapping, terminology management, and documentation
