About this role
Role Overview
Deliver annual sales revenue and volume targets for assigned strategic accounts
Build and manage a robust project pipeline by identifying growth opportunities within existing customers and new prospects
Develop and execute strategic account plans that create long‑term customer value
Drive sales of specialty, value‑added protein fortification solutions by uncovering unmet customer needs
Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Technical Service, Marketing, Product Line Management, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
Lead customer engagements including commercial discussions, technical/project ideation, and contract negotiations
Forecast sales performance and pipeline activity using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and internal reporting systems
Represent Ingredion at relevant customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, or a related field
8–10+ years of experience in specialty ingredient sales, account management, or a related B2B commercial role
Proven success managing strategic customer accounts and delivering profitable growth
Strong understanding of protein fortification, health‑driven ingredients, or value‑added food solutions
Experience working remotely and managing a multi‑state or regional sales territory
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
