As a Sales Account Manager focused on Digital Business Automation, you will drive new business growth within strategic enterprise customers, identifying expansion opportunities and building relationships to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Drive pipeline creation and new business growth within a focused portfolio of strategic STAR accounts
- Identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities for BMC’s Digital Business Automation solutions, with a focus on Control-M
- Engage with a wide range of customer stakeholders—from IT teams to business leadership—to uncover automation and orchestration challenges, align solutions to strategic priorities, and drive new business opportunities
- Develop strategic account growth plans that align BMC’s solutions to customer transformation initiatives and business priorities
- Work in close partnership with the Account Director and broader internal ecosystem aligned to each account, including Solution Engineers, specialists, partners, and customer success teams, to maximize customer impact and accelerate deal success
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, delivering accurate forecasting and consistent opportunity management across complex enterprise sales cycles
Requirements:
- You bring a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, particularly within large, complex customer environments
- You have experience building pipeline and driving new business growth within existing strategic accounts
- You bring experience or knowledge in Control-M, workload automation, data orchestration, or adjacent automation technologies
- You have been trained in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and understand how to navigate and close complex enterprise opportunities
- You excel at building relationships with both technical and business stakeholders across multi-threaded sales cycles
- You are collaborative, curious, and motivated to learn, with the ability to quickly build expertise in BMC's Digital Business Automation portfolio
