Work with a diverse team of conservation professionals to provide administrative oversight of public grant and private funding for DU’s wetland conservation efforts.
Support the work of staff, partners, and landowners on grassland, wetland, and conservation restoration and protection efforts.
Monitor compliance with government grants and contracts for financial, administrative, and technical requirements, including budgeting, invoicing, financial and progress reporting, audit, records, and closeout.
Monitor, analyze, and reconcile project budgets and expenditures.
Facilitate processing of regional project payables and labor reporting.
Compile and process receivable invoices for grants and agreements.
Coordinate contract development and implementation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, review and commentary, approval, and dissemination.
Facilitate establishment and maintenance of grant and contract data and records in internal systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of federal and/or state grants, direct experience desired
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
