Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world and is seeking a Product Manager II to join their Asset Services team. The role involves defining long-term strategy for Protocol Integrations and infrastructure, developing products for developers, and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality features.
Responsibilities:
- Own a product area and define long-term strategy for areas such as: Protocol Integrations & infrastructure, Bridging and tokenization
- Develop products & services for internal and external developer audiences
- Own managing network launches across Consumer and Insto products
- Drive adoption of crypto-first product features, working closely with partners on product teams
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new product opportunities by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and gathering insights from clients and experts
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, legal, and operations teams to translate product requirements into clear specifications and deliver high-quality features
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in product management or elsewhere in a similar capacity (product-minded engineer or entrepreneur)
- Comfort with technical systems and strong empathy for developers
- Experience building reusable or developer‑facing primitives (APIs, SDKs, protocols)
- You're an excellent communicator, comfortable talking to individual contributors and executive leadership
- An insatiable curiosity and a proven ability to learn complex technical and financial concepts quickly
- Ability to work with engineering, design, and business stakeholders, influencing outcomes and driving execution
- A deep and demonstrated interest in the crypto ecosystem, DeFi, digital assets, protocols, tokenization and the future of financial markets
- Previous work experience in crypto-native projects (i.e. DeFi, CEXs, RWAs, etc.)
- Experience working closely with protocol teams
- Knowledge spanning consumer & institutional finance (e.g. capital markets, asset management, financial operations)
