Optum is part of a leading information and technology-enabled health services business dedicated to making the health system work better for everyone. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to promote strategic growth by identifying leads, closing sales transactions, implementing new accounts, and managing partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains successful relations with existing customers and potential customers by interacting professionally and proactively
- Promotes strategic growth for the company by identifying leads and closing transactions, with a concentration on mental health facilities, recovery centers, hospitals, psychiatry practices, and behavioral health clinics
- Attends state and national conferences in an effort to maintain relationships with current customers, identify leads, and interact with potential customers
- Acts as a liaison between our company and the customer base through contracting and implementation process
Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales and/or behavioral health/long-term care experience
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
- 1+ year of pharmacy experience
- Proven solid customer service skills
- Demonstrated understanding of computer and related products; knowledge of PC skills including use of standard MS Office applications
- Ability to establish and maintain longitudinal relationships
- Proven solid organizational skills
- Proven solid presentation skills
