OEC provides software solutions to the automotive parts and repair industry, aiming to streamline workflows for professionals. The Associate Account Executive will drive the full sales cycle, from prospect identification to deal closure, while maintaining high customer activity and collaborating with other teams to identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Calls and emails customers utilizing a transactional approach to sell OEC products and services to attain or exceed 100% of assigned revenue targets
- Maintains a high level of customer activity through high-volume outbound cold calling and hosting virtual product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams meetings
- Works closely with Customer Success and Consulting teams to identify new business opportunities
- Understands the customer base and seeks opportunities to upsell product upgrades and add-on opportunities to existing customers
- Creates standard reporting for assigned territory and product(s), and forwards to management with information on the selling environment relating to competition, marketing, and pricing
- Documents all customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and proposals within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Microsoft Dynamics. Maintains customer records and updates changes to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role making high-volume outbound calls is required
- Is a strong hunter that is driven, resilient and creative at engaging in meaningful conversations and handling objections
- Is a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is adaptive and can thrive in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to employ structured selling methods and sales techniques
- Ability to multi-task on daily projects and commitments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen, persuade and influence others
- Can quickly learn complex company products
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Sales or related discipline is preferred but not required
- Experience in SaaS sales is highly preferred
