Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world and is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead key initiatives across their HR Technology ecosystem. The role involves evaluating new solutions, driving custom builds, and integrating AI-powered tools to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of strategic HR tech initiatives—across internal tools, third-party solutions, AI capabilities, and integrations with platforms like Slack and Google Workspace
- Evaluate and implement new technologies: whether building in-house or selecting and integrating external tools
- Own the full product lifecycle—from vision and prioritization through launch, adoption, and iteration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that deliver both business outcomes and outstanding user experiences
- Influence vendors and internal stakeholders to align on priorities, shape roadmaps, and accelerate delivery
- Apply emerging AI capabilities to modernize and simplify workflows across the HR ecosystem
- Run Agile ceremonies, manage project timelines, and track progress toward clearly defined outcomes
- Define metrics to measure success and guide continuous improvement across the HR Tech stack
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives with measurable impact
- A strong track record of making buy vs. build decisions and driving both to successful outcomes
- Experience working across multiple HR domains and integrating tools into productivity platforms like Slack or Google Workspace
- Demonstrated ability to drive AI-forward initiatives, from exploration to implementation
- Confidence influencing senior leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to align around high-impact solutions
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with technologies like AI/ML, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and passion for applying technology to improve how people work
