Rhymetec is an industry leader in the MSSP cybersecurity space, seeking a Business Development Representative to execute outbound prospecting strategies. The role involves identifying potential clients, initiating contact, qualifying leads, and collaborating with the marketing team to enhance outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Execute outbound activities including cold calling, emailing, and social selling to generate new business opportunities
- Independently research and build prospect lists from scratch using outbound tools and market intelligence, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality leads beyond pre-provided lists
- Research and identify potential customers, understand their needs, and qualify them as high-value leads for Account Executives
- Customize outreach strategies for high-target accounts and employ a more generalized approach for low-target accounts, producing different outbound strategies for different target audiences
- Work alongside the marketing team to incorporate marketing content and campaigns into outbound strategies, ensuring consistent and effective messaging
- Work closely with Account Executives to develop strategies for nurturing leads and transitioning them into the sales pipeline
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date CRM with detailed notes on outreach efforts and lead interactions
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach targets, including the number of calls, emails, and qualified leads generated
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate value propositions
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or working with startups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects and articulate value propositions effectively
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results
- Confident working independently in a remote environment, especially with other team members being across time zones. Able to take initiative and maintain momentum in day-to-day tasks
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Amplemarket) is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
