Bridge Project Manager

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking Bridge Project Managers to join our Bridges & Structures team in Ohio. The role involves partnering with clients to understand project objectives and formulating solutions, while overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to final design.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets
• Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects
• Prepare advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy
• Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects
• Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects
• Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables
• Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing support, including business development
• Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval
• Review monthly man-hour and cost reports
• Ensure that all scope revisions affecting the project schedule and/or budget are discussed with the client

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required
• 8+ years of bridge engineering experience is required
• Ohio PE license is required (or through reciprocity)
• Prior ODOT project experience is required
• Current MicroStation and OpenRoads experience; Civil 3D experience is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
• Ability to mentor and coach junior team members is a plus
