Intelligems is a profit growth platform helping e-commerce businesses optimize their profitability through innovative tools. They are seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative to build the outbound sales engine, focusing on cold prospecting and qualifying leads for their team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute outbound campaigns targeting e-commerce brands and Shopify merchants through cold email, cold calling, social outreach, in person events and more
- Research and identify high-potential prospects, understanding their business challenges and how Intelligems can help
- Qualify inbound leads by understanding prospect needs and determining fit with our solutions
- Book qualified meetings for our Account Executives and ensure smooth handoffs
- Iterate and improve our outbound playbook—testing messaging, sequences, and targeting approaches
- Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in HubSpot, tracking all activities and pipeline progress
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to share prospect insights and refine our go-to-market approach
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, or a demonstrated track record of hustle and drive (we're open to non-traditional backgrounds for the right candidate)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with cold outreach—you're not intimidated by rejection
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in e-commerce, SaaS, or helping businesses grow
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
