Jobot is a leading organization dedicated to transforming the landscape of clinical research and healthcare through innovative data solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Business Development Executive to join our team, focusing on the Real World Data and Real World Evidence space within the clinical research and life sciences ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and qualifying prospective clients interested in RWD and RWE solutions
- Conducting outbound outreach, engaging potential clients through calls and emails, and supporting lead qualification processes
- Collaborating with senior sales and business development teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Communicating the value proposition of EMR-derived data, healthcare datasets, and analytics solutions to CROs, pharmaceutical, and biotech clients
- Managing early-stage sales conversations, facilitating smooth handoffs to senior sales teams, and maintaining accurate records of pipeline activity within CRM systems
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases, such as clinical trial feasibility, patient recruitment, post-marketing studies, and regulatory support
- Staying current on industry trends related to RWD, RWE, EMRs, and healthcare analytics to provide informed insights and support strategic growth initiatives
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or related commercial roles within the healthcare data, life sciences, or clinical research sectors
- A solid understanding of EMR-derived real-world data and its applications in clinical research
- A proven track record of building sales pipelines and supporting revenue growth initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working with or selling into CROs, pharmaceutical, or biotech organizations
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
