Alstom is a leading company in the transport sector, offering a wide range of mobility solutions. They are seeking a Product Introduction Support Manager to ensure operational efficiency and provide technical support for commissioning, warranty, and maintenance activities of passenger rail cars and locomotives.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance procedures and passenger experience
- Provide technical support and guidance on Commissioning, warranty and maintenance operations for Passenger Rail Cars and Locomotives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during field support activities
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks
- Diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective solutions
- Liaise with clients and operators to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present detailed reports on field activities and project progress
- Train and mentor junior staff in maintenance best practices and company standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures, fleet support, and operational efficiency in rail or related industries (aviation, bus, large-scale fleet maintenance, or military maintenance)
- Familiarity with production/assembly/site management or methods engineering
- Proficiency in process-oriented frameworks (Kaizen/5S, task sequencing, maintenance scheduling/planning)
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience managing people and coaching/mentoring teams
- Willingness to travel (up 65% of the time)
- Bilingual skills a plus (French or Spanish); English mandatory
- Experience or understanding of Passenger Rail Car maintenance and field support
- Lockout/tagout and general safety certifications/knowledge is a plus
