SymphonyAI is building the leading enterprise AI SaaS company for digital transformation across critical growth industries. The Associate Account Manager will drive sales and strategic partnerships within the CPG Insights practice, focusing on client acquisition and portfolio expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, ensuring consistent progress through the sales cycle
- Leverage Sales Enablement Technology, including CRM and Marketing tools, to communicate to targeted groups of prospects effectively and efficiently
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for retail collaboration subscriptions
- Understand the business needs and pain points of prospective clients to effectively position SymphonyAI’s solutions and services
- Clearly articulate product and program features and benefits along with value proposition to multiple levels and personas within customer organizations
- Write and customize proposals and presentations that clearly communicate why the solution is right for specific clients based on their business needs
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Retailer trends, successful use cases, and benefits of collaboration
- Partner with multi-functional partners including Client Success, Pre-Sales and Product team to ensure complete understanding of relevant CPG use cases
- Use CRM tools to manage sales pipeline and track customer interactions
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular progress reports to sales leadership, highlighting key wins, challenges, and potential areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Excellent analytic skills and knowledge of data driven decision-making and leveraging customer insights, in a CPG environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role; preferably in the data analytics or technology sector
- Proven experience as a sales hunter and an ability to drive strategic sales cycles and close business
- Track record of consistently meeting or over-achieving assigned objectives and working in a quota-based environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Aggressive self-starter, able to quickly adapt to changing environments
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business: Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Requires knowledge of: Syndicated Point of Sale (POS) Data Industry (e.g. NielsenIQ, Circana, SPINS, etc.)
- Requires knowledge of: Primary Research methods and analytics
- Requires knowledge of: eCommerce environments and Path-to-Purchase analytics
- Experience within the CPG industry
- Experience with broker management is a definite plus
