Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions. They are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive business development for their Life Sciences engineered solutions business, focusing on developing long-term relationships and identifying new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize business development process to identify new customers and develop specific action plans to grow new accounts in the Life Sciences space
- Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities. Assemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projects
- Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process. Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations
- Travel: 40% - 60%, dependent on business needs
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4+ years of business development and indirect solution sales experience in the Life Sciences market space
- Proven experience developing and maintaining high-level business relationships that produce results
- First-hand experience and strong working knowledge in one or more of the following vertical markets: Pharmaceutical and Biopharma, as well as higher ed and healthcare spaces as they relate to life sciences
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related course of study is strongly preferred
