Absorb Software is a leading mentorship platform that helps organizations build meaningful employee development programs. The Business Development Representative will drive growth by identifying and qualifying outbound opportunities, engaging prospects, and showcasing the advantages of the Mentorship Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Re-engage lost opportunities and dormant leads (past opps, content downloaders, stalled conversations) through targeted outreach to revive pipeline
- Source and qualify new opportunities through creative outbound prospecting, smart account research, and timely follow-up
- Communicate the Together value proposition and uncover pain points to book qualified meetings and progress opportunities
- Consistently hit activity and pipeline targets (calls, emails, meetings, pipegen) through strong time management and prioritization
- Maintain accurate CRM data and collaborate cross-functionally to improve outreach processes and sales output
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in a related role
- Must be a team player and highly self-motivated
- Excellent at being adaptable to change and switching priorities
- The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejections daily
- Proficient in conducting detailed data analyses and using metrics to drive business results
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interested in long-term career opportunities in SaaS sales
- Proven ability to sell with a minimum of 1 year of experience. This can be in the service industry, field sales, door to door, retail or at an office
- Familiarity with Sales Engagement tools (HubSpot, Orum, Salesforce)
- Familiarity with Sales Prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Nav)
- Understanding of sales process and qualifying such as MEDDPICC
