Segmed, Inc. is a leading medical imaging data platform enabling AI developers and technology leaders to innovate in healthcare. They are seeking a Director of Business Development to drive strategic partnerships and enterprise sales within the AI and technology sectors, focusing on complex sales of medical imaging datasets for AI training and validation.
Responsibilities:
- Own and exceed annual revenue targets within AI and Big Tech accounts
- Develop and execute a focused go-to-market strategy for AI and foundation model buyers
- Identify and close multi-year data licensing and strategic partnership agreements
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and opportunity development through contract negotiation and successful deal close
- Proactively hunt for new logo acquisition while supporting strategic expansion and relationship growth within key existing enterprise accounts
- Structure creative commercial models (enterprise licenses, cohort-based pricing, data subscriptions, strategic partnerships)
- Maintain accurate pipeline documentation, deal stages, account plans, and forecasting within Salesforce
- Build executive-level relationships across AI research, data science, and product leadership
- Expand existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and long-term partnership expansion
- Represent the company at industry events, AI conferences, and customer meetings
- Partner with the Clinical, Data Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to structure compliant and scalable data solutions
- Translate customer AI model development needs into structured data solutions
- Provide reliable revenue forecasting and board-ready pipeline reporting
