LEVELOCITI is a rapidly growing professional services firm specializing in Specialty Tax Incentives Consulting. They are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead their Sales & Use Tax division, providing technical leadership and developing strategies for firm growth while mentoring a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex Sales & Use Tax consulting engagements across multi-state and global jurisdictions
- Advise clients on indirect tax planning, nexus analysis, taxability determinations, and audit defense
- Review technical analyses and ensure high-quality, defensible work product
- Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert in Sales & Use Tax
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and guide firm strategy accordingly
- Help build and scale the Sales & Use Tax division
- Develop methodologies, templates, and best practices
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within Specialty Tax Incentives engagements
- Support business development efforts through thought leadership and client presentations
- Manage and mentor tax professionals
- Provide technical training to internal teams
- Contribute to strategic hiring decisions as the division grows
Requirements:
- CPA, MST, JD, or equivalent advanced tax credential preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Sales & Use Tax / Indirect Tax consulting
- Experience in a professional services or public accounting environment
- Strong knowledge of multi-state indirect tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex client engagements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership ambition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
