BillingPlatform is an industry-leading, fast-growing SaaS company focused on revenue lifecycle management. The Sales Development Representative will prospect and qualify enterprise accounts while collaborating with Marketing and Sales to build a robust sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Create messaging and cadences/campaigns to reach out to target accounts with relevant value statements and positioning
- Communicate frequently with enterprise Sales Directors to ensure execution of agreed-upon outreach strategies and refine based on what is working/not working
- Use industry and business insights to research accounts, identify key players, and develop relationships to nurture and qualify leads
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop target lists and strategies, driving growth across prioritized markets
- Collaborating with the SDR team, sharing best practices and insights to amplify success across the team and beyond
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities through cold calls, emails, marketing campaigns, etc
- Generate new sales-qualified introductory meetings for the sales directors, who will then conduct discovery and determine if an opportunity is present
- Manage and track all activities to ensure data accuracy and effective follow-ups
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in SaaS sales environment
- Previous experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calling, email campaigns, sequencing, etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Ability to follow outreach scripts effectively while adapting to conversations, and confidently handle objections to move discussions forward
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
