Easy Ice is a growing company that provides an all-inclusive commercial ice machine subscription to business owners nationwide. The Business Development Manager will focus on new business-to-business account development, including prospecting, cold calling, and presenting product options to meet sales quotas.
Responsibilities:
- Meet monthly sales and installation quotas
- Identify, prospect, and sell new customers
- Generate revenue and meet sales targets
- Develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
- Gather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and drive new business
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with operations, corporate staff, and field sales organization
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research
- Develop and build a pipeline of potential clients to meet and exceed sales targets
- Conduct outreach to prospective customers to introduce products and services, effectively communicating value propositions
- Qualify leads to ensure they match the company's ideal customer profile and have strong growth potential
- Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective clients
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close new sales while ensuring profitability
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and outreach strategies to generate leads
- Act as a market leader to develop networking relationships that drive new business leads
- Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities within CRM systems
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities
- Develop a strategic plan for territory growth, focusing on high-potential accounts and long-term relationships
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of outside sales experience
- Proven track record of success in new business development with a short sales cycle
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify and approach potential clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively deliver presentations and product demonstrations
- Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
