Concentrus is a leading NetSuite & Acumatica solutions provider, helping clients leverage these platforms to achieve their business objectives. The Business Development Representative role focuses on outbound prospecting to engage potential clients, generate leads, and schedule meetings for Senior Account Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute consistent outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach to engage CFOs, Controllers, and Operations leaders
- Activity & Pipeline Generation: Maintain a high level of outbound activity, typically 120+ prospecting touches per day across calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, to build and sustain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospects current systems, operational challenges, and potential ERP needs
- Meeting Scheduling: Book qualified discovery meetings for the Senior Account Executives and ensure prospects are properly prepared for the conversation. Successful BDRs typically generate qualified meetings per month through outbound prospecting and targeted account engagement
- CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and lead activity in HubSpot to ensure clear pipeline visibility
- Market & Product Learning: Continuously build knowledge of the Cloud ERP landscape, and understand how our solutions differentiate
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales development, business development, or high-volume B2B prospecting (SaaS or technology sales preferred)
- Prospecting Mindset: Comfortable with outbound prospecting and maintaining consistent daily outreach activity
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders
- Resilience & Drive: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to stay motivated through rejection and continuous prospecting
- Technical Curiosity: Comfortable learning and discussing software platforms and business process improvements
- Tools: Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus
